The new Tim’s Kitchen, located at 1000 Albertson Parkway in Broussard, is off to a great start following the closed—well-known—Ruby’s restaurant.
Tim’s Kitchen is a Cajun, Creole southern restaurant that was born from an urge to serve the community. The owners of Tim’s Kitchen formerly owned & founded Ruby’s Restaurant that was once located at 315 Rue Louis XIV. In fact, they are cooking much, if not all of the same dishes as before. Remember those school-aged rolls from the cafeteria when you were a kid? They serve those rolls! That alone is enough to draw me inside. You will also find homemade cakes and many other favorites that are shown in the menu photo below.
According to Tim, little to no advertising has been needed as many are spreading the word of how great this instant hit of a restaurant is due to their history.
