The coming soon El Paso Mexican Restaurant at 200 W Gloria Switch in Carencro has been sitting with no movement for a long time.
This week, something changed. That something is that new building materials have been placed onto the property. The material appears to be mixed steel beams. Bricks have been on the property since the slab was poured.
Hopefully, this is a sign of progress for near-term construction. As this project has been in the work for a few years, appearing to have stalled.
Earlier this year, we looked into the stagnancy of the project, and both the city and the restaurant claimed no hold on their end. Either way, things should be looking up.
