The Lafayette Public Library in Downtown is currently being stocked with their books and all of the things that make a Library what it is. I pass by this Library nearly everyday and have had the privilege of seeing the artistic fence go up and the monumental sign erected. I hear many stories from my wife about this Library and how this was the hang out when they were younger. Isn’t that strange, a Library as a hang out? Lol, I won’t go into detail about her childhood stories, but what I will say is that I am happy to see something as important as this being renovated for the future. I will continue to follow the progress and will note any major advances towards an opening date when I hear about them.
