Acadian Kitchens, the company producing the Ragin Cajun and Cajun’s Choice brands of products, is coming soon to a larger facility at 3136 NE Evangeline Thruway in North Lafayette, formerly one of the many previous Completeful.com spaces.
As a leading producer of authentic Louisiana culinary products, Acadian Kitchens produces a wide range of seasonings, seafood boils, rubs, seasoned beans, etouffee, creole sauce, roux, box dinners, jalapeno relish, slices, and pickles. As a local company, are committed to preserving the rich flavors of Cajun and Creole cuisine with products that capture the essence of Louisiana’s culinary heritage.
The relocation to the 35,000-square-foot building in North Lafayette will mark a significant milestone for Acadian Kitchens, which is currently spread across three buildings with a combined 10,000 square feet of space. The new facility not only will provide easier interstate highway access but will also offer ample room to expand with new equipment that will increase productivity and foster further growth as a local company.
The decision to move to a new facility was prompted by the challenges posed by Hurricane Delta and the company’s vision for growth, which was sped up by the damage done, according to past reports.
The move to the new facility is a testament to Acadian Kitchens’ commitment to providing high-quality products to its loyal customers. The larger space and improved infrastructure will empower the company to meet growing demand, increase production capacity, and create new employment opportunities in the region, especially for North Lafayette residents who need higher-wage career options.
The conversion of the warehouse into a state-of-the-art food-processing facility is estimated to be completed by the end of the year. It could be sooner, according to a company spokesperson.
