In early April, news broke that a new linear park was being planned for Camellia Boulevard along a greenbelt. Upon driving by that area recently, it appears as though the construction or pre-construction for this park has already started. There is a good sized fence around the perimeter of the greenbelt. Inside of the fenced area is ground work for the gridshell pavilion. I don’t know the full details of the work, but I do know that this is pretty promising of how quick these projects can moved forward. The park will have an awesome looking pavilion that is designed by UL’s Archtectural Department, along with seating, artwork and maybe a few surprises. You are able to view our previous post on this topic (here).
Thanks to Jordan P. for taking the time to ride by this spot with me.
