A new chicken spot, called Ragin’ Chicken Co., is coming soon to the former Villager’s Cafe space at 1901 Chemin Metairie Pkwy, Suite 7 in Youngsville, LA.
Locally founded & operated, Ragin’ Chicken Co. will offer a variety of slow marinated, seasoned & crunchy chicken tender-based items, including sliders, wraps, and bowls all topped with your choice of house sauces. Ragin’ sides will include a variety of Cajun-influenced items like red beans & rice, mac ‘n’ cheese, seasoned fries, and your choice of a maple Belgian waffle or a roll. Excuse me! A maple waffle!? That’s different. They will also offer a selection of thick milkshakes that is sure to provide that cool hit while crunching down something with an actual kick. Did we mention that it’ll be seasoned & crunchy? And, by crunchy, they mean crunchy! None of that soggy stuff.
Former Villager’s Cafe Space in Youngsville
The new QSR restaurant will feature a bright red & deep black color scheme, fitting for the name. There will be several small tables along with a few larger bar height tables in the center of the space, surrounded by several TVs to enjoy a game. The stand out feature of the restaurant, aside from the actual food, is the bright red flaked out countertop. They are really hitting a homer with this spot.

Tentatively, Ragin’ Chicken Co. is expected to open early March. Just in time for Mardi Gras festivities. Now, get ta cluckin’!
