Lafayette’s only dedicated pie shop, Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, opens tomorrow, Thursday, September 12th with a limited menu to start.
Located at 454 Heymann Blvd., Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop will serve a variety of fresh-baked pies crafted from time-honored family recipes. See previous post here.
Franchise owners Greg & Beth Champagne, are excited to open and share the delicious pies with the Lafayette community. The local owners also own Champagne’s Market in the Oil Center, The Kitchenary, and Lafayette’s Nothing Bundt Cakes—those delicious, magical cakes!
Some of Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop’s most popular flavors are pecan, apple, and the signature pie, called I-40; a pecan pie made with chocolate chips, a sprinkle of toasted coconut, and a smooth pecan pie filling combined in a sweet shortbread crust.
