In May, we shared that a new, permanent Parklet would be coming to Downtown Lafayette in front of the historic Gordon Square Hotel Building. Less than a month later, the parklet—sponsored by Oats & Marino, and designed by local architect firm, SO Studio, is now in place.

The new parklet, located at 605 Jefferson Street, is right in front of Pouparts Bakery, SOLA Violins, and Adorn.
The construction materials are composite wood and metal pieces. The metal pieces were not installed at the time of the photos.
