Founded in Pineville, LA as a larger-than-life pizza food truck, Jim Deggy’s Brick Oven Pizza & Brewery is officially now open at 201 Jefferson Street in Downtown Lafayette, Louisiana.
The restaurant features an edgy, custom metalwork design all handmade by the owners themselves. From the lighting to the wall accent art to the door handles, and even the diamond-plated shroud over the imported brick oven, this place embodies that one-off, locally-owned feeling that many miss with larger chains.

The menu features a variety of brick oven pizzas, of course, but also soups & salads. Their signature pizza, The Voodoo, features White Sauce, Pepperoni, Boudin, Jalapeno, Cream Cheese, and Pepper Jack baked fast & hot with natural wood flames.

As for hydration, Jim Deggy’s has a ton of on-tap drinks like local beer, obviously, as well as mixed drinks, and even in-house purified water that is accessible to anyone who needs a tall glass of ice-cold, clean water.
