We recently visited the new Cajun Works 2 – The Real Cajun Deal in Breaux Bridge, across from Walmart. The Owner, Toby K., also has a Cajun Works location in Krotz Springs, which is the first of many locations for Cajun Works. The restaurant is designed around “camp style” cooking. When you first walk into the Breaux Bridge location, you’ll instantly feel like you’re somewhere near the Atchafalaya Basin. My wife & I, had the chance to try a sampling of many of the items that are on the menu at Cajun Works 2. We sampled an assortment of items like Meat Pies, Chicken Tenders, Gumbo, Catfish, Pistolette rolls, Boudin Balls and a whole lot more. Some of the meats in the boudin balls & meat pies consist of USDA deer(venison), rabbit, crawfish, bacon, beef, and even gator! Oh, their Mac n’ Cheese, awesome!
