A new restaurant called The Real Cajun Deal has recently opened at 1880 Rees St, Suite 206 B in Breaux Bridge. Owner & Chef, Toby Kimball is the man behind Cajunworks : The Real Cajun Deal, a new franchise concept that screams Cajun country cooking. The location in Breaux Bridge opened its doors on June 27th and offers some of the most down home style food with an Atchafalaya atmosphere, too. They offer camp plates like Mud Bugs on Cats Back, which is crawfish étouffée served over fried catfish, and Chicken & Sausage Gumbo. You will also find an assortment of fried foods like meat pies, crawfish pies, smothered chicken pie, alligator pie, boulettes, cracklins, tenders and more. But out of all things, my favorite thing is dessert, and RCD has Louisiana Pralines, yum! Check out their (facebook) to scope out your next lunch.
