Construction is underway for a new State Farm office for local agent Scotty Doucet, located at 117 Duhon Road in Lafayette.
The building is going up between Sunbelt Lighting and LSA on Duhon Road and is just minutes from the agency’s current location.
Renderings show a traditional State Farm-style design with what appears to be space for another tenant.
The project is being developed by Gen Group Construction, LLC with architectural design by Trahan Architecture + Planning.
According to Doucet, the building is expected to be completed by summer 2026.
