The new standalone Starbucks, located at 3105 Louisiana Avenue in Lafayette, LA, in the former Capital One bank building, is set to open on Monday, September 29.

Located near the I-10 & Louisiana Ave. interchange, this will be the first standalone Starbucks with a drive-thru for the Northside area of Lafayette. The old bank footprint has been gutted & renovated for the new coffee shop, along with a new drive-thru lane, fresh landscaping, and outdoor patio.
From the latest photos, it appears that everything is in the final stretch—signage is up, the patio is in place, and crews are finalizing last-minute details to open the doors.
For coffee fiends who already get down at the Target Starbucks just inside the shopping center, that location isn’t going anywhere. This new spot simply adds another convenient option for locals and travelers passing through who do not want to get out of their vehicle. But, if you do want to go in and spend the better part of your day basking in the sounds & aromas of coffee, you can still do that too!
According to a local Starbucks manager for another location, the new I-10 & Louisiana Avenue location will open on Monday, September 29.
