This week, additional documents have been provided, offering more clarity on how the store will look and where the store will sit in relation to Rouses Market. The plans place Trader Joe’s at the corner of Camellia Blvd. & Bluebird Drive, just across from the established Rouses location. Currently, If you view the provided address on a map, it would appear that the store was going to be touching the same grass as Rouses. However, Bluebird Drive will keep them separate.

The store is still slated to measure about 16,500 square feet and will feature the same neighborhood-style layout familiar to Trader Joe’s shoppers across the country, as shown in the plans below.
Construction is expected to begin in the fall with an anticipated opening in the spring of 2026.
