Vinno Wine & Liquor is now open at 1518 South College Road in Lafayette, offering a range of wine and spirits in a compact, easy-to-shop space.
The store is located inside a former storage area connected to Oil Center South College Cleaners.
Owner Sagar Kumar has operated the dry cleaners since 2016. After years of serving customers in the area, he decided to convert the available 700-square-foot space into a liquor store to better serve the community. The goal, he says, is to provide a convenient shopping experience with a solid selection and fair pricing.
The store carries a mix of everyday brands and premium options, including high-end bottles like Yamazaki 18-Year Japanese Whisky, Widow Jane Lucky Thirteen, and Bardstown’s Amrut Series. It also features a variety of bourbons, tequilas, vodkas, and scotches—ranging from widely known labels to limited releases.
Vinno Wine & Liquor is designed for customers who want a quick and straightforward buying experience without sacrificing variety. The store and its products are organized clearly, with pricing and labels easy to identify.
A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration is scheduled for Thursday, July 3.
