Former Cajun Market Meats in Youngsville Being Remodeled Into a New Restaurant, Concept Still Undecided

on

The former Cajun Market Meats at 2810 Chemin Metairie Parkway in Youngsville is currently being remodeled into a brand-new restaurant by the local business owner of several popular food and entertainment spots across the Gulf South, including El Paso Mexican Grill and Pedro’s Mexican Grill & Bar.

Locally, this same owner is behind a growing list of concepts, including the newly renovated El Paso on Pinhook Road in Lafayette, Las Delicias de Michoacan (a colorful dessert shop at 5449 Johnston Street in Time Plaza), the former Chili’s building on Ambassador Caffery, Black Bull Sports Bar & Pool Hall in Youngsville, and Le Soleil d’Orleans, a non-Mexican restaurant also based in Youngsville.

As for what type of restaurant is coming to the former Cajun Market Meats building, that’s still undecided. While many might expect another Mexican-themed restaurant, the owner hasn’t confirmed a name or cuisine yet. And given his variety of concepts, it could go in a completely different direction.

There’s no official completion date at this time, but judging by the remodeling activity, the new soon-to-be restaurant remodel could be completed within the next couple of months.

The owner is also inviting the public to share their ideas for both the former Cajun Market Meats and Chili’s locations.
