Bánh Mì House, A New Vietnamese Sandwich & Coffee Shop Coming Soon To Downtown Lafayette

on

Bánh Mì House, a new Vietnamese restaurant for sandwiches, coffee, and fresh-baked pastries, is coming soon to 302 Jefferson Street in Downtown Lafayette, inside a former barbershop space.

Lafayette did have another Bánh Mì deli, called Do’s Deli, back in 2015: See that: https://developinglafayette.com/wp/new-banh-mi-style-deli-opening-in-march/

Founded by Kiet Phung and Pamela Le, a local couple with a passion for Vietnamese food and coffee, Bánh Mì House brings that passion to life with a menu centered around Vietnamese po’boys, or bánh mì, made with a variety of protein options and bold, traditional flavors. Coffee is another primary focus, with Vietnamese coffee beans and a drink lineup that ranges from the classics to their own creative specialties. For those who prefer something a little different, they’ll also offer a strong matcha menu.

A limited bubble tea menu will also be available, along with a mix of pastries. Some sweets offered, like macarons and cakes, will come from Pamela’s sister’s café in New Orleans—Dream House Café. Other items, including croissants, bagels, and egg tarts, will be made in-house daily.

There is no opening date set yet, but we estimate that Bánh Mì House will open within 2 to 4 months.
