A new 40,000-square-foot adventure park, Urban Air, is coming soon to the former Bed Bath & Beyond space at 3617 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, LA.
Founded in 2011 in Southlake, Texas, Urban Air Adventure Park is described as the ultimate indoor adventure park where kids of all ages—and kids at heart—can test their limits. According to its website, the company provides a safe place for the whole family to jump, soar, race, climb, and play.

If we had to compare it to similar places in Lafayette, it would be akin to Sky Zone, Elevation Station, Surge by Drew Brees, and EPIC Entertainment. Each of these venues has unique attractions that set them apart. However, Urban Air combines elements from all these places into one space, offering a variety of attractions that will satisfy even the most daring individuals.
Urban Air of Lafayette will feature a fast-casual café, party rooms, and a variety of attractions for all ages, including the Sky Rider, various slides, an air court, a warrior course, a ropes course, Spin Flip cars, climbing walls, dodgeball, trampolines, and many more. Some Urban Air Adventure Parks also offer indoor skydiving, which we would love to see in Lafayette. If big wig from the Urban Air office sees this post, can we make a motion to install indoor skydiving? Pretty please!
As construction for the new Urban Air of Lafayette moves foreward over the coming months, they will also begin the hiring process, with approximately 70 local positions to be filled.
