LRCA Building New Middle School On The Northside of Lafayette

on

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy(LRCA), a Charter Schools USA campus is expanding with a brand new middle school campus coming soon to Lafayette’s Northside at the 300 Block of Acadian Hills Lane.

The new middle school is being constructed next to the recently built Lafayette Renaissance Charter High School(LRCH). See more about LRCH: https://developinglafayette.com/wp/construction-update-of-lafayette-renaissance-charter-academyslrca-new-high-school-in-north-lafayette/

The new 69,769-square-foot, two-story middle school for LRCA will provide more room for student body growth as it will be the new campus for all 5th-8th grade students of LRCA & LRCH. Currently, LRCA’s campus hosts Pre-K – 6th grade, and LRCH hosts grades 7th – 12th.

We have made several, and we do mean SEVERAL—many, numerous, muchos, copious, a myriad of attempts at getting further information regarding details of provided facilities for the new middle school, but were left playing hangman, just like back in the day. But not all is lost, our “insider privileges” have exposed us to the rendering prints, not the PDFs, of the new middle school’s renderings, which are posted so nicely in the lobby. We, of course, took photos of the printed renderings to share with you guys! Because that’s just what we do.

According to the printed renderings(shown below) and what we can visually see, the new LRCA middle school will feature the same well-oiled car rider loop, an attached gym, and a large track & field complete with bleachers & a separate track shed & concession building. Other than this information, we are left to assume that the rest of the school’s facilities will be similar to that of the other campus locations.

New LRCA Middle School

The tentative completion date for the new LRCA Middle School is aimed at early to mid-2025, but definitely before the 2025-26 school year. These buildings go up rather fast due to their efficient construction techniques.
