Construction has officially begun on the new Chick-fil-A location at the corner of 5300 Johnston Street & Ridge Road, across from Time Plaza shopping center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Known for its Grade A chicken, Chick-fil-A has grown to become one of the most sought-after quick-service chicken restaurants in the country, and ranks as the highest-earning chicken franchise in the U.S. with a collective $10.5 billion in sales.
The new location appears to feature the company’s new double drive-thru efficiency model that will have a 50-car capacity, making it a perfect opportunity to position a Chick-fil-A near the city center to provide ease of access and to help alleviate the strain on the other two standalone locations. Though, we all know that when any new restaurant opens, especially a Chick-fil-A, it is jam packed for weeks after its opening—months even.

We would also like to be clear that we do not have any renderings to show how the new Chick-fil-A will look once complete. The cover image of this post is just us hoping for a cool build. 🙂
The new Chick-fil-A location is estimated to be completed by late Spring or Early Summer of this year, however, the completion date could be sooner or later depending on construction.
