World of Beer of Lafayette will be located at 111 Old Camp Road Suite 100, next door to Half Shell Oyster House, inside of the Ambassador Town Center complex with Costco.
Okay okay, if you’ve been following us for any length of time, then you already know about World of Beer and how it has been coming soon for years now. But guys, it’s actually happening now for real for real.
A new construction permit was released a few weeks ago, but being that we have already shared this information in the past, we decided that it would be best to wait for construction to start. Well, it has started!
You may be asking yourself, what is World of Beer, yo? World of Beer was founded in 2007 in Tampa, FL. Their website states, “What started as one of craft beers original bottle shops, has grown to be a gathering place for beer explorers & food lovers alike.” If you like BJ’s Brewhouse or any other bar & grill, then you’ll love World of Beer. My wife and I are not beer drinkers, but that wouldn’t stop us from enjoying some of the food that is offered at WOB. You’ll be able to find things like German pretzels, tacos, burgers, and an assortment of other good bites.
We would try to provide some sort of tentative completion date for Lafayette’s World of Beer, but we are not going to even try. Let’s just follow along with progress as it’s made. Once there is a sign on the building, then come back to us for an update. Cool?!
