Zuhause Bakery & Coffee, located at 6774 Johnston Street, recently went under new ownership after opening two years ago in September of 2017.
Since the opening, Zuhause has grown into a unique destination for many in the community that wishes to grab a great coffee, a tasty lunch or even a signature dessert like their donut beignet. And with a growing fan base in the Lafayette market, plans for future expansion have become a higher priority.
Baton Rouge is a market we are very interested in. And will look to cross the basin as soon as we are ready to make the jump.
Future expansion plans include a possible second or perhaps even a third food-based location in Lafayette Parish and one or two smaller, dessert-based locations of Zuhause. Areas of interest for expansion include Broussard, Youngsville, and other key growth zones.
Owners of Zuhause would ideally like to see a new location within the next 12-18 months pending property acquisition or leasing.
