Sears Outlet Is Back In North Lafayette

on

Guess who’s back, back again, Sears Outlet is back—tell a friend.

A new Sears Outlet is Now Open at 2001 NW Evangeline Thruway in the Parkway Plaza shopping center in North Lafayette.

You may remember that just a few short years ago, a Sears Outlet opened in this same spot, but closed shortly after. See our old post of Sears Outlet from a few years ago — (here).

Today, the new Sears Outlet is under new leadership, and stands a better chance of survival this go round, then previously. How do I know this? I don’t, but I am being optimistic.

We went inside to check out the store and, it’s nice. It is still being laid out, but product is available for sale including mattresses, refrigerators, washers & dryers, sofas, ranges, and even lawn equipment.

So how does Sears Outlet differ from Sears?

First off, it is a subsidiary of a Sears Holdings company spin off, called Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores. Some of the stores of locally owned & operated, while many are company owned. See below for more info on the company.

Sears Outlet provide with in-store and online access to new, one-of-a-kind, out-of-carton, discontinued, obsolete, used, reconditioned, overstocked, and scratch-and-dented merchandise at a discounted price — wikipedia.org
