A new, bigger, St. Pius X Catholic Church has started construction at 600 Kaliste Saloom Road, formerly the Acadiana Bottling location. The church is said to be at capacity and is in need of a larger building. If I am not mistaken, the current building will be converted to education facilities, but that isn’t official knowledge.
