In May 2023, we shared that a new Tractor Supply Co. would be coming soon to Carencro at the 3400-ish Block of NW Evangeline Thruway. It’s been close to a year since that announcement and dirt is finally being moved at the site.
Founded in 1938, Tractor Supply Co. is the largest rural-based products company in the U.S. offering products ranging from farming & contractor tools, gardening supplies, recreational products, pet products, and baby chickens.
Storefront
The closest Lafayette Parish-based Tractor Supply Co. is the location at Destination Pointe in Scott, LA. While it may not seem like that far of a drive to go to Scott for your weekly or monthly Tractor Supply haul, the proximity to the former Ranch Outlet space in Carencro makes this location more desirable for many. Not to mention, it’s closer to the I-49/I-10 interchange.

As for tentative completion date, now that the construction has officially begun, we estimate that this location will be up and running by the end of the year or sooner.
