Shawarma Guys, a locally owned & operated Greek/Mediterranean restaurant, will be opening a third location in the former Batch 13 space, inside of the Shops at Autumnwood, located at 2668 Johnston Street & N. College Road.
Shawarma Guys originates out of da berry (New Iberia, LA). In 2019, the local restaurant expanded into Carencro, LA just shortly after the city experienced a large amount of growth. According to the word on the streets, Shawarma Guys in Carencro is making a lot of people talk about how good the food is and the portion sizes you get.
With its success in the Carencro & New Iberia markets, the local company is making yet another leap of faith to open a third restaurant.
The menu at Shawarma Guys consists of Chicken Shawarma, gyros, falafel, spicy chicken, shrimp, along with kids options, vegetarian options, and a variety of other menu options like soups & appetizers. Also, Shawarma, if you didn’t already know, stands for roasted meat. 🙂
No tentative date has been set for opening yet due to the current situation of COVID-19. We post updates as it gets closer to opening.
