The new Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, opening soon in the former Toys R Us, has their signage up and the lights are on. There is also a now hiring sign if you’re looking to work retail.
The former Toys R Us store, located at 5700 Johnston Street, closed nationwide earlier this year and many of the vacant stores have been scooped up by companies taking advantage of the prime real estate. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is no exception with their strategy to penetrate the toy market by moving into vacant Toys R Us stores.
The inside of the store is still just shelving left over from Geoffrey, which will make Ollie’s opening date happen soon rather than later.
