We passed by the new Kia dealership that is being built on Southcity Parkway this weekend. I keep watching this area, thinking that it would spring up fast, but it has been rather slow. The construction started earlier on this year, with other dealerships already built & open. However, if I’ve learned anything, it can be a big ol’ pain in the butt dealing with the city and all of the permitting that goes into building. There is some progress though, photos below show glimpses of slab and plumbing work, which is one of the toughest parts to complete. We should see a quicker build from here on out.
