Bonne Vie Macarons, A Home-Based Bakery, Is Opening Up Shop In A Former Taco Restaurant On Kaliste Saloom

on

An accidental in-home baker by the name of Heather Degeyter, owner of Bonne Vie Macarons, will soon expand her business outside of the walls of her home.

Started in 2017, Bonne Vie Macarons was born from a simple act of baking for family. And as many of us know, when someone in the family can bake we get excited and want more. Heather, a local mother, wife, and creative started seeing a trend of people enjoying her creations that came about from word of mouth—as it oftentimes occurs. After seeing how well-liked her treats were, she decided it was time to make it official and open up Bonne Vie Macarons, a bespoke French macaron, and dessert shop.

Fast-forward a couple of years, and Bonne Vie Macarons is expanding out of the home and into a brick & mortar shop, located at 607 Kaliste Saloom Road Suite A — formerly Oh My Taco. With this commercial space opening, Heather is able to offer her previously made-to-order only designs to all on an everyday basis. They plan to serve freshly baked macarons, tarts, cupcakes, and layered cakes. 🙂

As of right now, construction for the shop has started and a tentative opening date is planned for May of this year.
