The Shops at Autumnwood, at the corner of Johnston & N. College, is going alfresco with its recent renovation project.
From time to time, it is nice to dine alfresco, or outdoors, for you non-worldly folks. Haha, like I am so worldly! But seriously, Autumnwood is adding a colonnade that will span from the edge of Albertsons down to China One. By the way, the lady at China One never takes your name down when you place an order, but knows what you order every time you go in to pick up. Continuing on, a colonnade will be going up along with continuous archways and wrought iron columns separating each business creating seating & dinning space for each.
You can't have outdoor space without a ton of greenery, right? So Autumnwood is adding landscape trees, hanging plants, and flowerbeds that will line the entire span of the colonnade.
All of the work is going on now, and should be complete by October, which should be perfect to enjoy our beautiful fall…weather. All ten days of it. I am excited for this though!
