A new Tropical Smoothie Cafe is coming soon to the former Zorba’s space at 1821 Chemin Metairie Parkway, Youngsville, Louisiana.
The locally-owned fast-casual café franchise will bring its nationally recognized menu of made-to-order smoothies, wraps, flatbreads, bowls, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items to the growing Chemin Metairie corridor, adding another dining option to one of Youngsville’s busiest commercial areas.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s menu features a wide selection of fruit-forward smoothies, ranging from classic tropical blends to superfruit and protein-packed options. Guests can customize smoothies with add-ins such as protein, vitamins, and energy boosts. The food menu includes toasted wraps, quesadillas, flatbreads, and sandwiches, along with lighter options like salads and smoothie bowls.
Two standout smoothies—which happen to be my personal favorites—include the Sunrise Sunset and the Açaí Berry Boost. The Sunrise Sunset blends strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice for a bright, tropical flavor. I love citrusy drinks. The Açaí Berry Boost combines açaí, pomegranate, banana, blueberries, and strawberries, offering a richer berry profile with higher antioxidant content for when I want to feel like I’m being better to my body. As of late, the berry boost has been more goto.

Renovations are currently underway at the former Zorba’s space to match Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s brand aesthetic. We are actually shocked that Youngsville is just now getting this as Carencro has had a location for several years.
A tentative opening date has not been set yet of which we are aware. However, with it being mostly interior renovations, we can expect a quick turnaround toward opening within the next 2-4 months.
