Restoral Dental, a new locally owned prosthetic-focused dental practice, has opened at 201 W Pine St, Suite B in Lafayette. Unlike a full-service general dentist, Restoral specializes in prosthetic care including extractions, implants, dentures, and partials. Their mission, captured in the tagline “Restoring Your Confidence,” is to help patients regain function and appearance with custom-crafted solutions.
A major differentiator for Restoral Dental is its in-house dental lab, led by technician Trevor Midkif, who brings more than 20 years of experience. The lab allows the team to handcraft dentures on-site, offering patients same-day service in many cases. A new patient can walk in for impressions in the morning and leave with a full set of dentures by the afternoon. For those who prefer a staged approach, Restoral also provides wax try-ins after a healing period, giving patients the opportunity to preview and approve their dentures before final delivery.

Founded by Dr. Tommy G. Hillman, DDS, who has nearly 40 years of experience and has placed over 1,000 implants, Restoral Dental combines expertise with a strong commitment to patient-focused care. Dr. Hillman, originally from Eunice, LA, established the Lafayette location as the first of what is expected to be many. Expansion plans are already underway for Lake Charles and Colorado, with long-term goals of reaching up to 15 locations nationwide within five years.
Currently, the Lafayette office operates with three exam rooms and two surgical suites, with the capacity to expand to a total of ten operatories. Alongside the clinical space, Restoral maintains both a traditional lab for handcrafted dentures and a digital lab for advanced modeling and future 3D production.
