A new indoor play studio called Rowe & Co. Play Studio is now open at 1911 Chemin Metairie Parkway, Suite 2 in Youngsville, offering a thoughtfully curated space for children ages 0–6; and their parents, too.

The locally owned studio is part of the Mill Commons development, located in front of Sugar Mill Pond. With over 2,700 square feet of newly built space, Rowe & Co. is crafted with both kids and caregivers in mind, featuring soft color tones, intentional layouts, and a calm, mom-approved atmosphere.

The concept blends imaginative, Montessori-style play with a warm, inviting environment designed to make families feel right at home.

Inside, children can explore a range of open-ended toys and play structures meant to spark creativity and encourage child-led interaction. Parents are welcome to stay and play or unwind in one of the lounge areas, complete with cozy seating and full visibility of the play zones.

Features include flexible weekday drop-in play, private weekend birthday parties, and special seasonal events. There’s also a small retail section offering a curated collection of high-quality toys, perfect for continuing the play experience at home.

Party packages at Rowe & Co. are customizable and hands-off for parents, with optional upgrades like ice cream treats from Baskin Robbins, conveniently located next door. Guests can also enjoy drinks and light bites from Huya Craft Coffee, delivered straight to the studio thanks to a local partnership.

The idea for Rowe & Co. began during a pivotal time in owner Taylor Vallot’s life. As a new mother recovering from a traumatic delivery and navigating postpartum challenges, she often felt overwhelmed and isolated. It wasn’t until she visited a play space similar to what Rowe & Co. would eventually become that things began to shift.

“Rowe & Co. Play Studio was born out of one of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of my life — new motherhood,” said Taylor. “I struggled to leave the house, let alone feel like myself again.”

Vallot says that first visit to a local play space brought unexpected comfort. Surrounded by other parents, she felt understood and supported. A feeling that stuck with her.

“I realized I wasn’t alone. That moms get it. And in that moment, I felt seen, supported, and encouraged — like I had made it through something hard and come out stronger.”

That experience lit a fire to build something meaningful for her own community.

“That night, I told my husband I wanted to create a space like that here in our community — a beautiful, intentional place where moms, dads, and caregivers could bring their little ones to play, connect, and just be,” she said. “And that’s how Rowe & Co. came to life — not just as a business, but as a purpose-driven space rooted in healing, hope, and belonging.”

The studio opened its doors on May 3, 2025, and is currently booking parties. Drop-in hours run Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while weekends are reserved for private events. Follow them on social for Saturday and Sunday pop-up play sessions, posted weekly.
