A fun new place called Mix It Up Culinary Entertainment is coming soon at 127 Arnould Blvd.
Mix It Up started out in Houma, LA by co-owners Chris & April Sins. April is a Registered Dietitian and Chris is a Registered Nurse.
The concept is simple. It is fun & engaging cooking classes for the young and young at heart. You get to prepare & eat dishes that are designed by health minded people, but prepared by you or your child, or both. Some dishes that you could expect to make are sushi, pizza, cinnamon rolls, homemade pastas and more. The owner, April, has even witnessed children eating out of the norm dishes that they had a hand in making.
The Lafayette location is under-construction, but you could expect booking for birthdays & parties to start soon on their website, Mixituphouma.com. Other classes such as Adult classes will follow shortly there after. The estimated opening date should be around January of 2017.
