A new allergy-friendly bakery called Whiskful Baking Co., is coming soon with its new storefront located at 730 Albertson Parkway Suite B in Broussard, LA.
Devoted to crafting treats that cater to various dietary needs, Whiskful Baking Co. proudly offers an extensive selection of gluten, dairy, egg, soy, and nut-free options.
Whiskful Baking Co. will be open a few days a week for retail purchases, with exact hours currently in the finalization stage. Customers will be able to select from an array of allergy-friendly treats, including cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and custom-sized cakes. The bakery is committed to creating a warm and inclusive space where everyone can indulge in freshly baked goodies without worry.
In addition to ready-to-enjoy items, Whiskful Baking Co. will introduce convenient bake-at-home options. Customers will be able to take home cookie doughs, mixes, and their Nonnie’s roux, to create goods for their own home.
The new space will also allow Whiskful Baking Co. to expand into wholesale partnerships, aiming to make allergy-friendly options more accessible to a broader audience and spread the joy of inclusive indulgence.
Tentatively, Whiskful Baking Co. is set to open its doors in early January, just in time for king cake season.
Fun fact, Whiskful Baking Co. competed in the 2023 King Cake Bread Pudding Bake Off, which was designed to raise money for each bakery’s chosen non-profit to support. It just so happens that Whiskful Baking Co. chose Maddie’s Footprints, which is the local non-profit that we are strong advocates for and serve on the board of directors. Good choice guys!
