Hey Carencro, you’ve all been asking us a million and one questions about Tokyo Japan and the status of that restaurant. Well, they have finally pulled a permit for construction and have been actively working on the inside to build out the restaurant.
According to their Facebook, they are aiming for an early Summer opening for this year. Hard to believe, but it’s actually happening. See photos of the inside work below.
If you are one of those people living under a rock, then just know that Tokyo Japan is a company out of Jennings, LA that is opening this location. It will have a full bar, a full sushi bar, and eight total hibachi grills. It is also not the same Tokyo restaurant that is located on the corner of Ambassador & Johnston. See earlier post (here).
