The Pink Paisley To Expand Into Former Brother’s Space On The Boulevard, Adding 5,000 Square Feet

on

The Pink Paisley, located in the On The Boulevard shopping center at Arnould Blvd & Johnston Street, is expanding into the former Brother’s Space—adding 5,000 square foot of retail space for a total of about 10,000 square feet of retail space.

Starting out of her home in 2008, Amy Lemoine has built her company up from home, then a small space in Parc Lafayette, and now into a thriving local business in the middle of Lafayette. Selling a variety of unique gifts, drinkware, clothing, and bath products, The Pink Paisley has outgrown their space, again.

The vacant Brother’s space that faces Johnston Street has a ton of parking, along with great visibility along the major thoroughfare. Lemoine states that the space was actively advertised and to secure parking for her business, she decided to take the space and take advantage of the visibility. The extra space gained with the space allows for The Pink Paisley to not only expand product selection but also maintain the light, airy vibe that many have come to love & appreciate while shopping in the store.

The new space features a ton of unique character with its old-fashioned feel from the Brother’s days, something Lemoine appreciates and wants to preserve. If you’ve visited the retailer at the Arnould Blvd address, then you may have noticed the large staircase and accents that have been tastefully painted & preserved. The same treatment will be carried out in the new space by matching The Pink Paisley color scheme & vibe while keeping the original structure intact. A wall separating the store’s current space will be removed to allow for a breezy flow of shopping traffic in and out of the space while closing off the original space, formerly occupied by Greenwood Shoes years ago. I hope that makes sense. Just know that the store will remain in the current shopping center, it’ll just be larger and much easier to see & access. It’s a win-win for everybody.

The renovations to the new space have already begun and will continue throughout the Summer with a tentative completion date set for the mid to late October range of this year.
