The Lemoine Company, a full-service general contracting & construction management company—well-known in South Louisiana for their work—is expanding their Lafayette headquarters into the Cox Communications building, located at 1906 Eraste Landry. Both Cox Communications & Lemoine Company will share the building.
In February of 2019, Waitr moved into the Lemoine building in downtown Lafayette, occupying the entire third-floor space. See Waitr’s expansion post (here). The Lemoine Company has remained in the second-floor space, consisting of approximately 13,500 SF. Though, after September 1st, Waitr will occupy the second-floor space as Lemoine finalizes the move of their operations to the new headquarters on Eraste.
The Lemoine Company constructed the Cox Communications building in 2007 and we have continued to admire Chenevert Architects design of the building which has transcended design ideas of the last decade.
The new Lemoine headquarters provides 27,500 SF of space to grow, ample parking, and its proximity to I-10, the building is a natural fit for the firm as they continue service expansion to the Southeastern US construction market.
“In addition to our commercial, healthcare, and infrastructure markets, we are actively expanding our service offerings in the resiliency sector thru our subsidiary, Lemoine Disaster Recovery, and our new pipeline subsidiary, Lemoine Pipeline Services.”
The Lemoine Company begin moving into their new space on July 19th, 2019. Some renovations are being made to suit the firm and new signage for both Cox, and Lemoine will be installed in the coming weeks.
