Today was a pretty big day for Youngsville and surrounding areas, as the ground breaking for the new Southside High School took place. The new school is located in Youngsville at the corner of Almonaster Road & S Larriviere Road. The completion of Southside High is expected to be next year, 2017, with the opening slated for the new school year starting in August.
