Southern Lifestyle Realty merges with Van Eaton & Romero

Great news for one of our sponsors, Van Eaton & Romero, a Latter & Blum Company.

Southern Lifestyle Realty merged with Van Eaton & Romero, a Latter & Blum Company, according to New Orleans-based Latter & Blum CEO Lacey M. Conway.

“Our family of real estate companies has worked with Southern Lifestyle Realty’s sister corporation, Southern Lifestyle Development, on a variety of projects in our own market areas throughout Louisiana. The synergies we’ve experienced and our similar cultures made this decision a natural one,” explained Conway.

Southern Lifestyle Realty, founded in 2013 by River Ranch developers Rodney Savoy and Robert Daigle, began as a real estate firm focused on its own properties.

According to Daigle, “Our real estate firm grew quickly, but our extensive development activities in multiple states remain our primary focus. The merger made sense for us as well.”

Troy Hebert with Van Eaton & Romero’s management team described another synergy: “One of our former top agents, Lori McCarthy, served as broker at Southern Lifestyle Realty and through this merger will return to us in a management position.”

“We’re delighted to have Lori and her team join us,” added Van Eaton & Romero broker/owners and founders Nancy Van Eaton Prince and Gail Romero. “She began her real estate career with us and quickly rose to become one of our top agents. Her experience and leadership skills will be extremely valuable.”

Established in 1917, Latter & Blum (parent company) is the largest independently owned real estate and home services company in Louisiana and the Gulf South with over 3,200 agents in more than 32 offices.

As Louisiana’s only $5 billion real estate and home services company, Latter & Blum is ranked among the top 30 real estate firms in the United States with a guiding principle of “building stronger communities in the markets we serve.”

Congrats guys!
