The old Exxon station in front of Single Source Supply at 202 N Ambassador has recently been demolished. The Exxon store had a fair amount of traffic, and including a Subway inside of the store. I was told that the store was demo’d in order to rebuild a better, newer & more accommodating fuel stop for travelers, as well as the frequent patron. In the photos below, you can see the original station in the Google Earth photo, and what the progress of the new rebuild looks like. The new building has a larger, more open store front that is inviting and modern to today’s convenience store asthetics. For my demo post of this location, see (here).
