The Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, located at 600 Savoy Road in Youngsville, has been working on its new, multi-million dollar expansion for a few months now.
The two-phase project, valued at $8.7 million, consists of expanding grade levels 6th – 12th. The first phase (shown in the photos) is comprised of a 40,000 sq ft, two-story building offering 14 classrooms, offices, a small gym, recreational space, and multifunctional space.
Phase two, which is set to begin in 2021, will consist of a large high school building with an estimated 600 seats. This will provide enough square footage for the k-12 school to house nearly 2,000 local students, 1,105 more students than what is currently enrolled.
Phase 1 is tentatively set to be completed by Summer’s end.
