A new, second location for 7 Brew Coffee is coming soon to Lafayette, LA at 3200 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, according to recently filed project details.
The location is along the Ambassador corridor, just past Walmart behind Riverside Church, sitting between Sam’s Club and Walmart on an undeveloped property.

7 Brew entered the Lafayette market in 2025 with its first location at 4308 Ambassador, bringing its drive-through-only model to the area. The brand operates without indoor seating, focusing entirely on vehicle traffic, typically using dual drive-through lanes to keep lines moving.

Fun fact: their buildings are usually constructed off-site and delivered once the foundation and site work are complete.

Based on 7 originals, their menu centers around speed and customization, offering espresso-based drinks, cold brew, iced and hot coffees, and a wide range of flavored options. In addition to coffee, the menu includes energy drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages, with multiple milk choices and add-ins.
This second location adds to the growing number of similar small-format coffee concepts across Lafayette Parish. Scooter’s Coffee was one of the first, opening along West Congress Street near Bayou Shadows and later expanding with a second location off Ambassador Caffery Extension in Broussard. PJ’s Coffee also tested a smaller drive-through-only format on Johnston Street at the former Voodoo Daiquiris site, but later closed. More recently, Dutch Bros Coffee entered the market with a new build in front of the Acadiana Mall, replacing a former Regions Bank location. Our local gem, Jet Coffee, has also continued to expand locally, including growth tied to its flagship Johnston Street location and its roastery operations.

Being no stranger to coffee shops, the continued growth of these types of coffee shops in Lafayette is part of a wider national trend. Drive-through-only concepts have become increasingly common everywhere—not just Lafayette—due to smaller building sizes, lower development costs, strong demand, and high volume.
A construction timeline and opening date for this second Lafayette 7 Brew location have not yet been announced. However, like we mentioned above, they build these mostly offsite. So the bulk of the work is the foundation, so construction is super streamlined and fast. We expect this location to be up and running within 3-5 months or less after construction starts.
