There is a new tea room & gift shop located in the Winnwood shopping center at 2952 Johnston Street, called Mad Hatters Tea Room.
They sell consignment items, art, gifts, and teas. Their main product sold is called Kratom, which is a natural plant derivative of the coffee plant family native of Southeast Asia. Many claim that Kratom has medicinal properties that help with opioid withdrawals, and various body pains.
The new store has been open for less than two month, but exist in other markets offering the same products.
