The Jennings-based JD Bank will soon take the former Hancock Whitney Bank space, located at 3600 Johnston Street & Arnould Boulevard; making this its second location in Lafayette. Their other location is located at 300 Verot School Road.
Hancock Whitney not long ago acquired MidSouth Banks at which a branch is located catercorner in the former MidSouth Bank building.

Banks will often buy other banks with bank money that’s reinvested into more banks banking on individuals banking with banks looking to hopefully make bank which keeps banks in business. — I tried my best to keep that line going and to keep it logical.
