Yesterday, May 14th, the Horse Farm was officially named Moncus Park on the horse farm. I understand the reasoning behind the name, the fact that a donors last name has been chosen, which is not out of the norm. As for myself, I will continue to call the park one of two things, Lafayette Central Park or The Horse Farm, sorry not sorry.
I am excited to see more developments concerning the park and the many ideas that are planned for it.
