Former Hooters Space To Become New, Locally-owned Sports Bar

on

A new locally-owned sports bar is coming soon to the now-former Hooters space at 3221 Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The new sports bar, which shall remain nameless due to legitimately not having a name yet, is owned by the same owners as El Paso & Pedro’s Mexican restaurants. Now, before you all go around yelling “Not another Mexican restaurant”, it will not be another Mexican restaurant! It is just owned by the same owners as one of the largest locally-owned Mexican restaurant chains in the Gulf South. Chill.

As for details, well, they are limited. In speaking with the owner, a lot of the details have yet to be ironed out. What is certain is that it’s a sports bar… okay. And, this said sports bar will feature sports bar type of food like burgers, wings, quesadillas, tacos, and an obvious selection of alcohol. Hence, the bar part of the name. But, will it feature any “scenery”… aka yams? That is to be determined. At least the space isn’t going to rot though!

As for tentative opening dates, the only bit of info we’ve got is that it’ll be open within 6 months. Whatever it is. Sure it’ll be good though!

K. That’s all. Love you. Bye!
