The signage for Dunkin’ is now up at 3546 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, a sign—see what I did there—that the new location is nearing completion.

Lafayette Runs On Dunkin’

The new locally owned and operated Dunkin’ will be a 1,700-square-foot restaurant that features Dunkin’s modern “Next Generation” design. The restaurant will also have a small meeting space for guests to use. Once open, the store is expected to employ around 25 team members and operate daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The updated Next Generation design introduces a more open and energetic layout, with modern finishes and a front-facing bakery case that will give guests a closer look at donuts and baked goods. The location will also feature Dunkin’s innovative signature tap system for premium pours, serving iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew, along with top-quality flavor-maximizing equipment designed to craft made-to-order beverages.

As one of the most renown coffee and donut brands in the United States, Dunkin’ continues to expand its footprint while maintaining its focus on fast, affordable, and high-quality food and beverage offerings. The menu includes hot and iced coffee, espresso drinks, energy drinks, donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and other grab-and-go options.

Last week, we had the opportunity to meet the local franchisee over coffee at Carpe Diem in downtown Lafayette. During our conversation, we discussed her background, her path into franchising, and why Lafayette was the right market for her to bring Dunkin’ locations. It was a positive conversation, and we look forward to seeing the brand’s entrance into Acadiana. Thanks for the drink & lovely visit, Naima!
In addition to the new Ambassador Caffery location, Dunkin’ is also planned for Carencro at the former Hardee’s site, most recently home to Soul Haus Kitchen, in front of Super 1 Foods. That project will be part of a tri-brand concept including Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and Baskin-Robbins. More on that soon!
With exterior branding now installed and lots of interior finishes wrapping up, Dunkin’ is tentatively set to open next month in March on Ambassador Caffery.
