In the latter portion of 2017, the Life Storage facility at 3636 Ambassador Caffery was completely demolished. Even the foundation in which the former storage facility sat had been removed.
Many submitted questions to us asking, what happened? At first, we just figured that it closed and did not have any real answer to provide. However, we now know that the single-story Life Storage facility was demolished to make way for a brand new, indoor climate-controlled, three-story Life Storage facility. <— I bet my grammar rocks in this last sentence.
The new three-story storage facility will soon be constructed and should include, roughly, 500-700 units. There are no immediate permits out for construction, so when we mention ‘soon’, I mean sometime in the near(ish) future.
