Flowers Foods, the company behind Evangeline Maid Bread, is celebrating their new Broussard bakery outlet, located at 490 Albertson Pkwy, this week.
This new bakery outlet did replace the one formerly located in Scott, LA.
The new, Flowers bakery outlet is technically open, but starting Wednesday, June 26th – Saturday, June 29th, customers can enjoy many in-store specials, food & drinks, and the first 50 customers will receive a surprise gift. We are not sure what the gift is, but we bet it’s made with dough. Forgive me, I should have proofed that joke…?.
Okay, all kidding aside. I love these stores! My mom & dad would bring us, as kids, to the Holsum Bread Outlet in Alexandria, LA. You know, when Holsum Bread had a Factory there. This store reminds me so much of my childhood as I would also get an iced honey bun from there. So can you guess what I bought at the new outlet in Broussard? Yup, an iced honey bun; and it was great.
